Who would have thought?
Yesterday marked the one month point since I’ve begun my non-smoking journey. Who would have thought, Ms. pack a day smoker has ceased smoking analog cigarettes. I have ventured to the dark side and bought a pack of cigarettes a total of 3 times in this last month and I have smoked perhaps a total of 20 only to regret each and every one of them. It turns out that despite my lungs missing the burn of a traditional cigarette, they now make me feel terrible. With each of those packs I have turned in to the cigarette god mother by handing out smokes to absolutely anyone who had asked. Needless to say that was essentially wasting my hard earned money and I’ve since then cut it out.
Now I’m all about finding that perfect all day vape. Let me tell you that although there really is no such thing as perfection, my current setup is fantastic. I began my vaping venture with a Vapor Shark. While that is a great system, I wasn’t really fond of their juices and went looking elsewhere. In my search for a café mocha eJuice, I came across the Halo Triton System. The iridescence on this particular set called to me. How could it not? It had my two favorite colors, purple and turquoise among others. So I ordered it and a café mocha juice which is delicious.
Of course, nothing goes perfectly smooth all the time and one of the batteries in my starter set was defective. What a shame, a reason to order another battery while I wait for the replacement. Since I was already placing another order, why not add another tank and juice. This time I picked a purple battery and a juice that is practically perfection. It tastes just like one of my favorite candies, Andies. I’m in vape heaven. my nicotine and sweet tooth are taken care of in just a few puffs.
I’m really enjoying the vaping experience. Not only do I love truing all the different flavors so far, I love that I’m still getting my fix yet taking in less chemicals. I started vaping at 24 mg of nicotine and I’ve already cut it back to 12 mg. The best part about it is I’m slowly getting my lungs back. It was not too long ago that making it up a flight of steps without losing my breath was impossible. It has only been a month and I no longer get winded making that ascent. Maybe one day I will be able to run. Well, that is if my knee doesn’t decide to object.
