This weekend came and went far too quickly.  Between working late on Friday and having to go in the office on a Saturday.  I was really only left with one day off. Lucky for me it was an amazing day. Not only did I actually get to sleep in, I was able to spend some girl time with the beautiful and insanely sweet, MamaJax.

It had been far too long since we had been able to spend some quality time and today was the perfect day to do so.  I also was able to enjoy the sweetness that is her little Valkyrie.

I’m ever so thankful for days like this. Life has such a habit of getting in the way more often than not, and making the time to reconnect with those you love and hold dear is important. I’m also thankful that when it comes to friends, it is wonderful to know that despite time and distance, the bonds stay. You don’t need to see each other constantly to know the love is there. If nothing else, true friends are what I value most. There is no material possession or anything else that can compare.

Now I leave with you with those words of wisdom and a bid you goodnight. There’s a bottle of wine that needs some loving from me.
