Every day that passes,  I find myself thankful that all has worked out in the way it has. Sure, perhaps there are things that may not have happened as I would have liked.  However, it all has occurred in the fashion that I needed for them to. As the saying goes, you can’t always get what you want, but you get what you need.  Good, bad or indifferent, it has been just so. I have lost a lot of not so great things, only to have them replaced by wondrous ones.

Life has worked itself out in such a way that I have grown both in mind and in spirit. Sure, I still have a long way to go. We all do. I believe personal growth is one thing that never ceases. However, I do feel that I have come a very long way over the past couple of years. While I am not young enough to know everything, there has been quite a bit of knowledge I have acquired. I have learned the hard way, yet they are lessons that will stay with me. After all, mistakes are only made once. The next time it is a choice and there is always a choice.
