My own
What an amazing feeling. Thinking back to where you have come from, how many people may or not have believed in you, and how at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. See, to me the trick is far simpler than that.
So much to be said about not only making your moves but the sense of accomplishment that comes from achieving goals. You’ve read my blog, you’ve come across my mentioning setbacks of various degrees and how above and beyond it all, life continues to amaze me. At the end of the day, it all happens in its own divine timing. Sometimes, no, most times, it appears even better than you can imagine. It’s humbling and inspiring, to be honest. I find myself incredibly thankful.
I am endlessly inspired to continue moving onward and forward, learning what I can when I can. I find that with this mindset, doors open with ease. I don’t ask anything of anyone. I don’t call in favors, I don’t rely on anyone. I am where I am because I have strived and overcome. That doesn’t make me any less grateful for all those in my life. I make it a point to not only be grateful for their presence but I do what I can be there for them. It’s the least I can do.
You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
