Hello all you beautiful people. It’s the Queen checking in after a lovely birthday weekend. I was just sitting here thinking how it isn’t until recently that my birthdays have been something I’ve looked forward to. For the longest time, I had thought that despite my birthday landing on two lucky numbers, I was surely dealt a shitty deck when it came to celebrating my birth anniversary. That is until recently. Last year began something that has turned the outlook on my birthday completely around. Maybe it has to do with my cutting the bullshit out of my life, or maybe it’s been my attitude in general, I am not sure. Regardless of what the reasoning for it is, I am thankful.

This past Friday was a night of epicness. Yes, I know that is not a word, though it should be. Who do I speak to about that? Anyways, I digress, back to Friday night. What an incredibly special night it was at Will Call in Miami. Urban Rebel premiered their video for the song “Awake”. Although we had gotten a sneaky peak of it atan earlier show, I was really excited to see it on a screen and not a phone.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday and a lovely one at that. Though I’m on very little sleep, I’m still feeling that energy high from Friday night. What an amazing show. Check me out, I sound like a groupie. Go figure, it’s still possible for a 36 year old woman to get that excited about a local band. I can’t help it though, these guys are amazing. Yes, if you’re reading this UR, I’m being mushy again. Aside from the good fun, I was able to take a couple of great shots.
