Hello, hello world. It’s time for a check in from the queen. I’m sitting here on the bus, working my way home and I could not be more relieved. This has been a very tough week for me, both mentally and physically. I think I would even have to add emotionally on to the list. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday and a lovely one at that. Though I’m on very little sleep, I’m still feeling that energy high from Friday night. What an amazing show. Check me out, I sound like a groupie. Go figure, it’s still possible for a 36 year old woman to get that excited about a local band. I can’t help it though, these guys are amazing. Yes, if you’re reading this UR, I’m being mushy again. Aside from the good fun, I was able to take a couple of great shots. Letting go and rocking out

Hi there beautiful people. I want to stop in really quick to give you all a little update. I got my Vapor Shark last night and I’m ready to get vaping come this Saturday. I initially wanted to begin today. However, when I break from traditional cigarettes, I want it to be a clean break and I fully intend on finishing the one pack I presently have. It works out really well actually. After a long day and a hellish week, I’m finally ready to begin my weekend. Tonight, we get to take in another Urban Rebel show and I’d love to compliment my drinks with the real deal. Needless to say, after tonight I let go of another damaging aspect of my life. Today has been a fantastic day. It’s a far better improvement than yesterday. Though Friday had started off well enough, it had turned in to a sore by day’s end. It’s hard sometimes, being slapped in the face with some things. It is even more difficult to realize you think too highly of some only to find out it was just wishful thinking on your part. It’s all well and good, though. Just another lesson learned in life. It’s amazing how regardless of words spoken, actions will always speak far louder. It does make me sad to see that I’ve been right on so many things, yet at the same time, I should already know my third eye is on point. I suppose that isn’t ever going to change. Happy gloomy Monday morning everyone. Stating the obvious, I will say that I would rather be home and in bed. Ah, my warm and comfy bed, how I miss thee. All things considered, I am ready to face the day. Despite how tired I am, I have every intention of making it the best day I can. Besides, it was a great weekend. Enough can’t be said about appreciation and gratitude, yet so often there is none. Human beings have become so greedy. Now it is not about “thank you”, nor “I appreciate it”. It has become more of a “well, now that you did that, can you do this?” People expect so much, yet offer so little. The sadder part of it is they dare then complain when someone says they cannot. Perhaps I’m speaking too generally. Maybe it is only I that seems to attract this type of persona; who knows, I might have the word “sucker” written on my forehead. Regardless, it gets old. One can only do so much for another before they begin to take away from themselves. The least someone else can do is acknowledge and be grateful for that being done. Read more “Reflection” →

Sometimes I wonder if it’s just me, or if society really has changed that much. On a daily basis I witness a growing normal of people getting upset over the slightest of things. Just this morning while waiting for the train, there was one woman getting all bent out of shape when an elderly lady tripped and bumped in to her. It was an innocent accident and this woman was livid, spewing all sorts of profanity towards this elderly woman that honestly seemed confused about what she did that was so wrong. Who says brunch anymore?

Good afternoon and hello. Happy Easter, everyone. It’s been wonderful all weekend. An equal blend of laziness and productivity. Yesterday, my focus was working on my photography site and its theme. I finally got it just the way I like it and I’m rather happy with it. We also made it a dinner and movie night à la homebody and cooked some rather delicious chicken and vegetables while watching “The Factory” with John Cusack. It was an okay movie, though I did not care much for the ending.
